Joyce Frane
Registered Dental Hygienist
Joyce is a lifelong resident of Huntertown and graduated from Carroll High School. She attended IPFW where she received a Certificate in Dental Assisting with Expanded Functions and an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. Joyce has worked as a Dental Hygienist for the past forty-two years. For the past 29+ years she has worked in our dental practice. She enjoys talking with her patients and building relationships with them while meeting their dental needs and concerns.
Joyce and her husband, Jeff, have a daughter, Jayme (Ryan) Schwab, who resides in the Huntertown area. They also have a son, Justin (Jordan), who resides in West Chicago, IL. They have been blessed with four grandchildren, Frazier & Kaylynn Schwab and Will & Graham Frane. Joyce enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and is an avid golfer.
Christianne Rothgeb
Registered Dental Hygienist
Christianne is a lifelong resident of Indiana, originally from Monroeville and currently residing in Hoagland. A St. Rose Alum and honors graduate from Heritage High School. She continued her education at IPFW receiving an A.A. in General Studies (2002) and an A.S. in Dental Hygiene (2004). She is an active member of the IDHA and ADHA, fulfilling the duties of the Financial Representative at the local level. Christi recently acquired her license to administer local anesthesia and has nitrous oxide certification. She enjoys volunteerism and has shared her oral health expertise while working at Mission of Mercy and TeamSmile events as well as giving dental health presentations at local schools. Christi is excited to help guide you in your oral health journey and feels blessed to be a part of this wonderful team at Bertsch Family Dentistry!
Christianne loves spending time with her family and making memories with her daughters, Mackenzie and Carolyne, and her granddaughters, Reese and Charlotte. Trips to Cedar Point, baking, and game nights are a few of her favorite things. In her free time, you will find Christi exploring nature or snuggled up to a good movie or book.
Brooke Gutierrez
Registered Dental Hygienist
Brooke was born and raised in Ansonia, Ohio. She graduated from Ansonia High School and continued her education at Ball State University where she met her husband and obtained a bachelors degree in public relations. Upon receiving her degree from Ball State, she decided to attend dental hygiene school at Rhodes State College in Lima, Ohio. Brooke graduated in May 2024 and received her associates degree in dental hygiene. Brooke enjoys building relationships with her patients and educating them on better ways to improve their oral hygiene.
In her free time, Brooke enjoys reading and shopping. She loves spending time with her family and husband, Grant. Together they enjoy traveling and spending time outside with their two dogs, Chief and Nellie.
Haley Badders
Registered Dental Assistant
Haley was born and raised in Huntertown, IN where she graduated from Carroll High School. Haley attended IPFW for her certificate in Dental Assisting along with her expanded functions certification. Haley has been working for Dr. Salkeld for 11 years. She has thoroughly enjoyed establishing connections with the patients of the practice. She loves to make sure patients have a good experience when they come in for treatment.
Haley has three children Ava, Finlee and Mack. And enjoys spending all of her spare time with them exploring, being outdoors and having fun!
In her free time Haley enjoys working out, reading, and serving others.
Jami Wright
Office Manager
Jami is an Oklahoma native who has made Fort Wayne her home for the past 18 years. With 11 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she transitioned to the dental field in 2016, where she thrives on building lasting relationships with patients. Outside of work, Jami enjoys traveling, sailing, reading, and cherishes quality time with her husband, Josiah, and their three children, Molly, Maggie, and Oliver.
